About Dr. Judy

Judith Glowicz D.V.M. graduated the University of Rhode Island in 1985 with a Bachelor of Science in Animal and Veterinary Science.  She then attended the University of Florida in the College of Veterinary Medicine where she received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1989.  In her final year of schooling she worked in an externship at Littleton Large Animal Clinic in Littleton, Colorado and an externship at Southwest Equine Hospital in Scottsdale, Arizona.

In 1989 Judy began her career as an associate veterinarian at the South County Veterinary Hospital/ Washington County Veterinary Hospital in South Kingstown, RI.  Judy eventually settled down in Westerly, RI in 1991 where she had been an associate veterinarian working for John Turco at Turco Animal Hospital.   Judy has also worked part time at Stonington Veterinary Hospital for the past several years. As of late, Judy dedicates all of her time to the seaside practice as it continues to grow.

Judy currently lives in Westerly,RI with her husband, Seaside practice manager, David Struzik.  She has two corgis, Max and Madison and two cats, Mooney and her new kitty addition, Claire. Bridgette, is semi-retired and enjoys the good life in a big grass covered paddock in RI.
